What We Were

The film follows Holger, who has been living apart from his wife Sigrid and their two daughters, Silvia and Lara. Every weekend, he picks up his teenage daughter Silvia from a party, bringing her back to the home he no longer occupies. One evening, an unexpected event involving their pet rabbit leads to an emotional confrontation, allowing the family to briefly reconnect.

Boris Aljinovic stars as Holger, alongside Annekathrin Bach and Jonathan Elias Weiske. The film captures the tension and complexity of familial relationships, inviting viewers to reflect on themes of loss and reconciliation.
