So, 'What's Eating Pee Pee Wong?' is this bizarre mash-up of genres that somehow works, or at least, it tries really hard to. You have this washed-up gunslinger, Pee Pee Wong, played by Andreas Beckett, who is dealing with some seriously dark past issues. The pacing feels a bit all over the place, but that's part of its charm, I guess. The action scenes are surprisingly well executed, with practical effects that have a certain gritty charm to them. It's a strange blend of comedy and western, with some moments that are just absurdly over-the-top, especially the setting of 'The Last House of Super Sexy, Barely Clothed, Drug Guzzling Nymphomaniacs.' It’s definitely not your typical Western, and the performances carry a certain sincerity that makes it distinctive.
