When Light Behaves Differently Towards Time

The film follows Nini Sardlishvili, a sixteen-year-old girl in Georgia, as she discusses her life and aspirations. Shot in the aftermath of the Revolution of the Roses in 2003, it blurs the lines between fiction and documentary, providing a unique perspective on a pivotal moment in Georgian history.

Alongside Nini, Domestic Intelligence agent Gocha Ovashvili embarks on an absurd quest to inquire if people are criminals. His journey across the country leads him to encounter various elderly Georgians, including a shepherd and two monks, all while he reflects on the past and future amidst the ruins of a burned Soviet archive.
