When the Bells Sound Clearly

The story follows an Austrian count, who has withdrawn from life after his wife's passing. His old flame, Susanne Weiden, arrives with hopes of rekindling their romance and securing a marriage for financial gain. However, his daughter Hanna has different plans with her secret lover, Michael, a teacher from Vienna's renowned Wiener Sängerknaben.

As the summer unfolds in the Alpine countryside, a young boy named Mikel, the count's estranged granddaughter's son, enters the scene. The narrative builds around the efforts to unite the estranged family members and the unexpected bonds that form, aided by a stray dog and equestrian talents.
