Who Is That Man?

The film follows a military officer who faces severe consequences after being accused of collaborating with a counter-espionage agent. Stripped of his rank, he is recruited into his country's counterespionage unit, leveraging his language skills to navigate the complexities of wartime intelligence. His mission takes him to Gdansk, where he seeks to uncover the mysterious 'Wotan' within the German Secret Service.

As the plot unfolds, the protagonist's journey leads him to confront the agent he is tracking, culminating in a deadly encounter. However, this action proves to be a double-edged sword as it complicates his efforts to clear his name. Just as he is about to face a death sentence, the outbreak of war provides him a chance to escape and join the partisans, illustrating the chaotic intertwining of personal and national conflicts during this tumultuous period.
