Why Would I Lie?

Cletus, the main character, is a compulsive liar who prefers to call his lies 'fabrications.' His journey begins when he becomes a social worker and is assigned the case of Jorge, a boy separated from his mother. To keep Jorge from being adopted, Cletus fabricates stories while searching for the boy's mother.
