And then you’ve got Ellie, the daughter, who starts to take on her mother’s traits—it’s unsettling. I mean, the practical effects are minimal but effective, enhancing that eerie vibe. Performances are solid, especially how they capture the shift in family dynamics. The whole thing feels almost claustrophobic in a way, really digging into themes of loss and identity.
