This film features three Macedonian women who confront the challenges of control over their bodies, loyalty, and the emotions surrounding pregnancy and adoption. The narrative unfolds through three distinct yet interconnected stories, with one set in a medieval context and two in contemporary settings.

Willow delves into themes of love, trust, and the bittersweet nature of motherhood, making it a poignant examination of female resilience. Directed by a collaboration of Pioneer Pictures, Saga Film, and Tirana Film Institute, the film highlights the diverse experiences of women in Macedonia, offering a unique perspective on their struggles and triumphs.
