Winnetous Sohn

The film follows Max, a ten-year-old boy who feels a deep connection to Native American culture despite his appearance. As he prepares to audition for the role of Winnetou's son at the Karl May Festival, his friend Morten, who is uninterested in the audition, supports him. Max sees this as a chance to emulate his idols and prove himself.

Max's home life is complicated, with his father, Torsten, being a dreamer who struggles to keep things in order. This has led to a separation from Max's mother, Birte. Max, determined to unite his family, steps into the role of the family chief, showcasing his courage and ambition amidst personal challenges.
