Wives III

This mellow comedy features a cast including Anne Marie Ottersen, Frøydis Armand, and Katja Medbøe, who reprise their roles from the earlier films in the series. The narrative unfolds through flashbacks to the original 1975 film Wives and the 1985 follow-up, Wives: Ten Years Later.

Set aboard an Oslo streetcar, the film centers around a surprise birthday celebration for Kaja, bringing the three friends together after a long separation. Their conversations reveal the different paths their lives have taken and highlight the deep bonds of their friendship.
