Wolf Child

In a secluded Portuguese village, a young peasant girl makes a fateful wish for a child on a full moon night. This wish leads to a dark legend of the wolf child, a being cursed by a forest creature. As the child grows into a man, his struggle with his animalistic instincts and the villagers' fear creates a tense narrative.

The wolf child's journey is intertwined with a friendship with a young witch, adding layers to the story as they seek to break the curse that binds him. Through their quest, the film examines the complexities of identity and belonging. Frederico Serra returns to the themes of folklore and tradition, building on the narrative style established in his earlier work, "Coisa Ruim."
