Woman of the North Country

In 1890, Christine Powell heads the Powell dynasty, a mining empire facing dwindling resources. The film follows her schemes as she tries to secure mining rights to the Mesabi range, currently held by Kyle Ramlo, a young geological engineer. Christine's interest in both Kyle's innovative mining methods and his personal life reveals her duplicitous nature, as she plots to undermine him while he is oblivious to her intentions.
