Yksityisalue

The film follows a young man who is drawn into an investigation after the apparent suicide of a successful architect. Initially, he cannot fathom that his esteemed boss would take his own life. However, as he uncovers the architect's troubled personal life, including a loveless marriage and an affair, the reasons behind the suicide begin to unfold.

Set against the backdrop of the early 1960s, Yksityisalue examines the emotional and moral struggles faced by its characters. The narrative reflects the societal pressures of the time, particularly regarding success and personal fulfillment. With a cast featuring Kalervo Nissilä, Jarno Hiilloskorpi, and others, the film provides a poignant look at the darker sides of ambition and the human condition.
