Yuvan Yuvathi

The story follows Kathirvel Murugan, a software engineer in Chennai, who shares a room with his friend Sakkarai. Kathir hails from Usilampatti and aspires to project himself as a city dweller with plans to settle in the USA. His father, Sevaka Pandian, an influential local chieftain, disapproves of his son's ambitions and is against inter-caste marriage.

The plot unfolds as Kathir meets Nisha, who also dreams of going abroad. When Nisha loses her passport, Kathir steps in to help her find it. Their relationship develops as they prepare to leave for the USA together. However, a twist occurs when Nisha reveals that she is actually going to the USA for her own marriage, leaving Kathir shocked and to grapple with his feelings.
