Zack Snyder's Justice League really dives into the darker tones of the DC Universe. It's got this epic, sprawling narrative that goes deeper into character backstories than the original cut. The atmosphere is heavy, almost somber at times, juxtaposed with these massive action sequences that feel more weighty and impactful. The pacing feels right for an epic—slow burn in places but it builds up to these huge moments that land with some real heft. The practical effects stand out, too, adding a tangible quality to the battles. The performances, especially from Ben Affleck and Gal Gadot, bring a gravitas to their roles that really works well. It’s a distinctive vision of what a superhero team-up can be, for better or worse.
