So, Zoombies 2 - it’s a wild ride, mixing action, adventure, and comedy in a rather unpredictable way. You’ve got this game ranger who’s got a mission, right? But things get real weird when zombie animals come out to play. The pacing is all over the place, which keeps you on your toes, I guess. The performances are... well, let’s say they lean into the madness, which adds to the charm. Practical effects on the zombies are surprisingly decent for a low-budget flick. The whole theme of unlikely alliances between the ranger and the poachers is interesting – they have to put aside their differences to fight a common enemy. It’s campy, but there’s a certain enjoyment in its chaotic blend of genres. Definitely a unique entry in the zombie genre.
